NEED THE LAN DRIVER FOR THINKPAD R 40
DESPERATE PLS HELP

Since I'm new to the forum too roop I'll give you a break and tell you that you're not being replied to because 1) You use CAPS which most people see as SHOUTING, and 2) You asked a question which is answered in the FAQ

Go to the IBM site -> Support & Downloads -> Select your model type -> get a list of compatible drivers, including the LAN - I presume Ethernet driver - you're after.

Go to this link, and just select your specific model, there should be a number on the bottom of your R40, in my case 2681-HSG.....fill that in the block "Model - select 1" and it would list all the drivers for your specific R40 model....note there are a few pages, so you might need to browse forward a little.
