Okay, so first thing's first: I have a refurbished W520 with 8 GB RAM, a TB of memory, and a 2.8 Ghz processor along with the hard Thinkpad tech I've grown to trust (Running Windows 7 Pro). This one runs even MORE amazing than the other one (ex. I can run my videogames on high now with this NVIDIA card) ^-^. HOWEVER, there is but one problem. When I'm booting from Hibernate the computer seems to decide to start programs up from scratch, as it shows in Task Manager with the memory having to go up and of course me being unable to use a program immediately after boot because of this. For example if I had Firefox open it's faster for me to end Firefox via Task Manager and boot it up again than to wait for the Thinkpad.
Is there any real explanation for this?
Programs seem to "start up" when booting from hibernate
