I have a T30.

It has an IBM High Rate Wireless LAN card in it...I believe mini PCI. Do you have one of those?

Also, I believe the computer takes P4M processors. What is the fastest you have?

Do you have any 1gb RAM sticks?

Thanks

I have to check...where were you a month ago when I threw like 20 of them in the garbage...

All jokes aside...you may want to upgrade to a newer card. Seriously.

P4M 2.0...I dunno...$5?

None that I can spare, but I believe fellow forum member TuuS has some...

I didn't realize I could just throw a newer one in there. You have any?

I have a 2.0 in my machine now. Thanks though.

Ok. I see it's like $22 shipped for a new set anyway.

Yep. You'll need to apply the "no-1802" hack first, though...

I'll PM you what I exactly have sometime tomorrow...too late for me to go through the box right now...

These guys are selling a 62 gig mSSD SATA-II at $20. Not sure if it is a Sandforce controller but this is clearly a very low price:

Thanks for the link - and the time taken to respond - highly appreciated. Seriously.

Unfortunately, that drive is sheer junk - not SandForce but junk nonetheless - and if you take a look at its transfer speeds, you'll understand why they're willing to let them go for $20...
