I have a main router, and I have a backup router that I want to use to extend the range of my wireless network.
My main router ip address is 192.168.1.1
I'll assign the 2nd router an address of 192.168.1.2, but turn the DHCP off. (or should I assign it 192.168.2.1)
If I access the internet via the second router, can static ip addresses still be assigned by the main router?
Static Ip's and wireless access points.

Re: Static Ip's and wireless access points.
