Colling Fan Heasink replacement from T60 to T61

Hi,

I have both T60 (which I don't use anymore) and T61. My fan on T61 makes a noise. I tried to clean with the air blow but didn't help. I think I need to replace the fan.

Models:
T60 - 14", non-wide screen
T61p - 14", non-wide screen

Can anyone suggest if I can replace T61p model (preferably with the heatsink) with T60?

Thanks for your reply. It wouldn't work with both cases (with heatsink and without) ?

I read somewhere that the parts of T60 and T61 are very similar, although not the same. I thought at least just the fan motor can be replaced (without the heatsink).

The physical fan, has different/fewer blades.
The Heatsink probably will physically be missing the needed GPU cooler portion.

I have made a mistake, my laptop details are:

T60, Standard screen, Type: 1951
T61, Standard screen, Type: 8898

As I mentioned in the lenovo forum, you can swap the fan from a 14" T60 to a 14" standard screen T61 with Intel graphics, but it wouldn't be recommended.
