(SOLD OFF FORUM)Very Clean T420 i5 For Sale

#1 Post by Donal » Wed Oct 22, 2014 5:47 pm

I've got a very clean T420 with i5 2.5 ghz processor(2520M), 320 gb hard drive and 6 gb ram for sale. It comes with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, and it is activated. Everything about this laptop looks great. I must say, I am not the original owner, and am unsure how Lenovo warranty works, but this shows a warranty as being active and has an end date of August 2015. It has webcam, 3 usb , one esata/usb port, sd card reader, DVD/CD-RW, and other goodies. No fingerprint reader. It shows a Windows experience index of 5.7. The specs on this link seems to cover all the bases http://www.pcworld.com/product/1307302/ ... ebook.html . Please ask any questions you may have. I will answer as best I can. The price on this laptop is $360 and that will include shipping to U.S. addresses only. Payment by postal money order or paypal.

Thanks,
Don.

Posting the machine's full 7-character model number (found on the same sticker that holds the serial number and production date on the bottom of the laptop) would help your cause...

Best of luck with the sale.

Good question. My best answer is, I don't know. I've hardly used the laptop , and never without being plugged in. While I was investigating a way to determine it's health, it charged up from 94% to 100%. It's a Lenovo battery with 70+ in a red circle. I would think the battery to be in just as good shape as the rest of the laptop. I had thought there might be some onboard diagnostic to indicate battery health, but found nothing with a quick search. Didn't want to download anything from the internet. If there is some kind of check to be done, let me know.

Thanks,
Don.

Inside of Power Manager it will tell you the battery condition.

I found the section for setting the power options for the battery. I had the laptop running off the battery, without the a/c , and it showed it charged up to 93% with 3 hrs and 40 minutes left on the battery.
