ATHEROS CM-9 WLAN MiniPCI in T42p?

Hi,
as written in my other thread for the country setting, I have tried installation of this ATHEROS CM-9 card in the T42p. This resulted in the failure 1802, unauthorized network card is plugged in. Shutt-off and remove card.

Is there any fix to this (newest BIOS and Embedded Controller installed).

Do a search for 1802 if you want to learn how to defeat this. Normally, the IBM BIOS will detect and refuse to work with non-IBM approved mPCI cards.

Hi,
finally managed to resolve this, just to struggle in next trouble with the Access Connections not working with this CM-9 card (Fn+F5 no longer has the button for wireless lan / Access Connections no longer activates the wireless lan card).
What's next to solve this?
