FS: half a T400 + bay + ultrabay hdd caddy and more - £30

Hi all,

I'm selling the following:
- a T400 in good condition EXCEPT: screen doesn't work; no hdd; no RAM. It works perfectly connected to an external monitor. It's a P8400, has a multi DVD writer and the reinforced keyboard. Model number 7417PLU and serial r8w2058.
- 6 cell battery that still gives over 2h battery time!
- Ultrabay HDD caddy 43N3428
- Docking bay 42W4621
- original (non reinforced) T400 keyboard
- 65w power brick with UK cord
- 90w power brick with UK cord
- US cord for the one of the power bricks above
- brand new replacement fan 45N6140 (the fan on the T400 works nicely but it's 5 years old)
- All the original manuals but no recovery disks
- Thermal compound tube

All of this for £30 + shipping from London, UK. I will ship to anywhere in the world, but bear in mind that it might be costly to ship outside the EU.

This machine has served me well for 5 years and I'm sad to see it go. The screen stopped working a few months ago but I always used it on the dock connected to an external monitor. I tried to repair it as described here (http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=107279) but botched it. You will probably need to buy a new mobo to get it working again. As said multiple times if you connect an external monitor to it (either via the VGA out or via the dock) it boots and works perfectly.

It would be ideal to slap an extra hdd and ram you have laying around for a home cinema or server, as it runs very silent and cool. I wish I could keep it myself for that purpose but I leave in a tiny shoebox apartment.
I've recently cleaned it on the inside, but I would suggest you to change the fan assembly and reapply thermal paste (I do it every 1,5 years). However it runs fine, cool and quiet as is.
