L M and other keys trigger right click menus

Keys toward the right of my X220 keyboard launch the right click menu. I reset the touchpad and mouse settings but it is still happening

Ideas?

Something short-circuiting on the keyboard? Try an external USB keyboard. Does it happen there?

Meant to tell you that you were right. Something was short-circuiting the keyboard. An external keyboard worked perfectly. I purchased a replacement, genuine Lenovo keyboard, installed it, and it works perfectly!
