T20/21 battery life

Hi all,
I have a T20/21 (mixed parts), 900MHz, 512MB, 5400 40G. I am at a point of considering battery, I have 4, 2 are dead, and the other 2 are rapidly deterioating, as I have never had a brand new T2x battery (all current batteries came with a used machine), I am curious as to how long a brand new battery will run. My application is wifi, with an AT&T g card, it will be pretty intense webbing. My alternative is to get something like a N-Charge, but as those things are about 2-3x of a T2x new (high cap) battery, I like to get some opinions here. Thanks.

I had an T21 with an normal battery that could do 4+ hours.

But then i deep discharged it, and then i only could get 1:40 out of it, and at 60% the laptop tought the battery was empty ... so i was looking to an waring screen for 1 hour :/ (what have we learned? dont do a bring the battery good in condition if its still reasonable )
