WTB: Thinkpad T430u

For some reason they're quite hard to come by. Found just one in ebay with a ridiculous price of $1,016.64. Maybe someone has one for sale.

Recommend that you keep away from this unit without personally seeing if this issue bothers you:
For some reason they designed it so that the palmest fits into the base of the computer, rather than on top of the base like most other thinkpads
This creates a lip that is sharp and hurts your wrists after minimal use.
It made the computer unusable for me and I had to sell it. Look on the lenovo forums for comments on this problem

This was essentially a thinkpad edge marked as a t430u, seemed to have edge degree of durability ,not thinkpad t series

you make want to look for an edge E420s - similar form factor and Cpu as T430u - there is a core i3 model on ebay for $179

Or a used T420s would prob be a better bet - you could get a higher resolution screen then, and would have the option for replaceable battery, etc
