CPU Power Management on T20

Is there any known issues with CPU Power Management and T20s? If I have it enabled in the BIOS Windows XP setup will bail just before you get to choose partitions etc; no errors, just turns off.

The moment I disable it this problem disappears. To begin with I was worried it might be a problem with heat and the 900MHz CPU I've installed but now it seems happy at fixed max as long as the previously mentioned option is diabled.
