Installing driver in T410i after formating

#1 Post by qbektrix » Thu Dec 25, 2014 2:25 pm

I just formatted my T410i(2518J3G). Previously, from what I remember. All I had to do was install the Ethernet driver & System update. The system update app would download all the needed driver and keep it updated. But this time around, system update did not install many drivers like FN key function, wifi driver, power manager.

What went wrong?
T410i: Win 7 Pro 64x, Intel Core i3-330M (2.13GHz, 3MB L3, 1066MHz), 2GB, 320GB/7200rpm, Intel HD Graphics.

System Update has been quite unreliable for some time now, at least in my experience...

I've found that recently System Update will offer updates that don't apply to my T410. I've started to read every readme txt file first, to be sure the update applies to my machine.

System Update used to be trustworthy, but no more. IMO
