Hello, I can get a Thinkpad X32 model 2884-M2U with a pentium M 1.8 ghz w/2 meg L2 cache, 256 meg of ram, 40 gig 5400 rpm drive, built in 802.11b/g wireless, xp pro, gigabit ethernet, 56k modem, x3 media slice with dvd/cdrw combo drive, 12.1 inxh XGA display, 1 year warranty for $1274.

I'm tempted...is this a good deal?

not bad, but the id put more ram in it, and maybe think about a diff hd (faster or just more capacity)

other than that, id say its not too bad.

That's the standard config for a 2884-M2U. I ordered one over two weeks ago from IBM/Lenovo w/the Mastercard promo price of $1359.20 plus tax. The day after I ordered, that model disappeared from the X listings on their website

May I ask where you can get it for $1274?

It is the EPP price from IBM/Lenovo for the unit new from the factory.
