Welcome to the forum!
Sorry to hear about your troubles.
Remove all the RAM and power the system on. Does it beep?

OK there's still life in that board.
Put in your old RAM and power the machine on. Any change?

Re: Computer issue
i assumed the old ram was apart of the mother board on this model, i took it to a shop and watched him put the ram in, and we didn't see an old ram

There are two RAM slots on the T430, and there is no RAM soldered to the motherboard.
Try inserting just one DIMM and see whether anything changes.

Re: Computer issue
That sounds like a bad BIOS flash which would equal replacing the motherboard. Before we take that route:
a) Is the machine still under warranty?
b) Is there any place where you could borrow a stick of DDR3 laptop RAM - smaller is better but beggars can't be choosers - and test the system one more time?

Re: Computer issue
yea i can try tomorrow on a new ddr3 ram, i also read that you can remove the palm rest and disconnect the backup battery for 30 seconds, it looks extremely difficult, would you recommend doing this, does that sound like something i should even attempt.

Re: Computer issue
Removing the backup (CMOS) battery is a good idea as well.
