x220 status indicator fell off. *PIC*
Anyone know where I can buy one of these?
The sticker cover which tells you standby/battery/ac/low battery on the top of the closed lid portion fell off. I called lenovo but they dont have a part listing for it..Any clues?
Admin edit: Added PIC warning since I added some pictures to the thread.

Just to be clear, is this what you're talking about:

If so, there's no FRU in the Hardware Maintenance Manual. Nothing in the Miscellaneous parts listing either.

It's probably the same sticker as on most other Thinkpads.
Check if e.g. a T60 has the same size, then look for a clearplate, like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/290878814228

Well, if you're desperate, you can buy that clearplate, try to cut it down (you only need the battery and sleep icons), then put some glue (super glue or what you prefer).it doesnt i just have two indicators

I don't have an X220 (yet) so this may not be exactly what you need....

It is from a T410. It's one that has only two icons on the clear plate for the lid. It might be the same as your X220.

I have an X220. I don't have a ruler with graduations below 1mm to make an accurate measurement, but I think it's close enough. It's not unreasonable to believe that they use the same clearplate.rkawakami wrote:It is from a T410. It's one that has only two icons on the clear plate for the lid. If Ray's T410 plate is the right size, you can get a lid from here & remove the plate from it - $11.

Have bought several dozen items from this seller.
I would use a small amount of rubber cement to secure it to your lid.
