What if I can't get Sarah to my house in a reasonable amount of time?

The answer is in the user guide. It says:
"Do not pack your computer in a tightly packed suitcase or bag." And that goes for backpacks too.
To the question whether it can be used as a cushion when sleeping at the airport: if i were in a public and unsafe area and would have valuable equipment on me and would get so tired, that i would need to sleep, i would consider getting a hotel room.
And, would you buy a cotton towel to put between keyboard and screen while travelling, as "cheap insurance"?
I read one shouldn't put anything at all between keyboard and screen. There isn't enough clearance. In order to prevent the keyboard from causing marks on the screen, i would avoid putting pressure on the computer.
