T60P External Display

What are the capabilities of the T60P as far as driving an external monitor, and the best way of utilizing them?

Connect a monitor's cable to the jack on the t60p left side. Toggle Fn button to switch video output to the external monitor.

I have driven a 1920x1200 external display successfully with my T60p.
Have not tried anything larger.
