T440S Touchpad

#1 Post by S-C-3-1-3 » Thu Mar 12, 2015 3:56 pm

Hi, all,

I am interested in the T440s and am unsure about its buttonless touch-pad.

How do you find working with this touch-pad? I do not use the Trackpoint; otherwise, I would look at the T450s.

It seems it would be really annoying to select and drag test. I do a lot of this when editing and am wondering how inconvenient the buttonless touch-pad is.

Also, how is everyone's overall experience using this machine? Are there any major issues I need be aware of?

Cheers,

Ian

I never used the new series, hence why you should wait until someone else will give you a worthwhile info perhaps, but from what I read around here the touchpad is terrible and the laptops of this series are only usable with a mouse.

I suggest you read some more posts on this forum, such as this one: T450 clickpad (with buttons) in T440/T440s/T440p
