T60p display issue

#1 Post by lukerus » Tue Mar 17, 2015 1:39 am

Hi there!
Some strange things are happening to my T60p's display. Months ago I thought the lid sensor stopped working, because the screen didn't switch off when closing the lid. But few days ago it started showing me just white screen and when closing it, at small angle (10° maybe) it shows me the right image (ie. Windows's desktop). External VGA moitor is working just fine. In the past I was messing up with DSDT and Clover Bootloader when trying to install Mac OS X. But I think it's not responsible for my problems since they occoured just few days ago.

Do you have any idea what can be wrong?

Thank you for all your answers!

It's probably the cable or the screen and since the cable is less expensive, it'd try that first. In fact, I'd check to see that the cable is seated properly. Could try booting to a Linux disc to rule out any Windows corruption or other software issue and that's free too. Good Luck.

Linux doesn't work either. I'll check if the cable is connected properly. Thank you.
