X41 1,8" ssd update problem

#1 Post by hexagon_sun » Sat Mar 21, 2015 2:00 pm

hello!
I bought mSata mini-pci adapter 1,8" ide 44pin 3.3v + crucial m550 128g ssd msata and when done installing it my ibm it didn't recognize this new ssd drive, in ebay auction description seller says that he recommended drives under 1000mA, that crucial has 1700mA. This is a problem what you think? or something different? Sadly I don't have other ssd drive to check this again.

Do you have another system in which you could test the SSD?

Problem is solved in kind a way, user automobus gave me a tip to check adapter, some of cheapest from eBay (I have this one) has production error, which might be fixed by soldering gun, but yesterday I connected this two points but didn't work. Maybe some recomendation of good quality adapter?
