"DVD Recordable" means CDs too?

I'm looking to buy a T43 (e.g., 2687DDU) and IBM lists one of the features as "DVD Recordable." Does this mean it is just a DVD-R drive or is it as a CD-RW drive as well? A recordable DVD drive would be great but I wouldn't want it at the expense of a CD drive. Does anyone know the answer to this?

I haven't personally heard of a DVD burner for any computer that doesn't burn CDs.
