[TESTED] 160MB on ThinkPad 380XD (8AU)

#1 Post by jeffbaichina » Wed Apr 08, 2015 10:06 pm

The 128MB EDO stick I ordered from MemoryMasters (eBay) just gone into my mail. For 18.99 it is a good money spent... because... it works!

My 380XD (2635-8AU, PM) boots up just finew with the new stick, utilizing all 160MB of juice!

Now it's time to wait for my SSD to come in and enjoy a new life with it (shaking in excitement)...

Admin edit: While I am happy for you that the 128MB module is working, your picture is WAY too large. The forum requests that inline image be kept to around 50KB (not 750KB) and that they're about 640x480 (not 1600x1200). I'm on an A31p and it doesn't all fit :) .

I'm just curious which SSD you're going to install. I have a 365XD, which I boot from the compact flash slot. I'd be interested in trying an SSD if it wasn't too expensive -- not for speed, just for durability and storage space. It's the shoutcast / mp3 / CD player in my shop.
