WTB/LF: T510+ for son in Amsterdam

#1 Post by riggs » Mon Apr 27, 2015 2:45 pm

Son in Europe looking for TP to run medical software. Requirements is an i5 processor, 500 GB disk, 8 GB RAM, Win7/8. Have bought quite a few TPs domestically from this forum; are there European sellers that frequent this website?

Moderator edit: Added a "WTB" (Want To Buy)/"LF" (Looking For) to the thread title... for clarification!

... hint: I suggest that you (also) have a look at The German ThinkPads forum Marketplace... because if byuing inside Europe (for shipping to EU!) will both save you from expensive international freight, and will also avoid the significant import-duty/VAT (value-added tax), that you'll have to pay if buying stuff from outside the EU.

Alternatively, you may of course also gamble on eBay (e.g. in Germany or in the UK), but I'd absolutely recommend sticking to either this forum, or the German forum - because sellers here and there are both much more knowledgeable and much more trustworthy, compared to what is unfortunately often the case on eBay!

Anyhow, good luck find a suitable ThinkPad for your son! :thumbs-UP:
