I have looked in the faq for the link for "Hardware Maintenance Manuals", but there is nothing for 755's? i want to know where the ram is? The closest document I find is :
ThinkPad computers (ThinkPad 340, 355, 360, 370, 700, 701, 720, 750, 755) IBM Mobile System Hardware Maintenance Manual, Volume 2 (S82G1502)

The RAM in the 755 is stored under the floppy drive (or cd drive in the 755CD.) When you pull out the floppy drive (or CD drive), there will be either a circuit board with two DIMM slots or there will be a space for an IC DRAM card.

Yeah, it should. If you have a 755 with the two DIMM slots, you'll have to remove that board with the slots before installing the IC DRAM card but yes, an IC DRAM card will work on any 755.

Hi I still need to wait for the person to reply, to sell it to me, he hasn't go online since may 22. anyways. I see only 1 dram ic slot for the 755. ? it boots with the internal 8mb ram now. I have to wait for him to buy it. he says it works for his 720 but I don't want to buy it because its edsi hd.. anyways the 8mb ic card for 720 would work but with parity disabled.. thats what I read on the forums
