I have one I bought last month that I ended up not using. I've got $15.00 into it, so I'd like to get that back out of it plus shipping.

It uses 2 72 pin SODIMMS, 16 MB each. IBM FRU 59G3998.

Cavalier is offering you the right card. The 755 uses a credit card DRAM module under the floppy drive (one card that looks like a pcmcia modem) or there is an adapter that plugs in the same place and holds two 72 pin fast page modules. The max memory is 40 megs on the 755CE/Cse/CX (8 onboard and 32 add-on) or 36 megs on the lower models. Yours is likely one that has 8 megs onboard. If you have plugged in a card and it is not registering or you get a memory error on statrtup go into EZ Setup (hold down F1 as you power on) and find the memory settings and disable (uncheck) memory parity. You have to do this with the module out, save settings, power off and reboot with the memory then put back in. When you do that it will recognize any of the credit card DRAM modules (they come in parity and non-parity).

They will perform the same so it is a matter of where you can get the best deal. 32 meg IC DRAM cards can be expensive while the 16 meg 72 pin modules are cheap but then you have to find the adapter which is likely getting very rare.
