T410 White screen no boot to bios

Anybody have a suggestion. Got a T410 that shows just a white screen. No bios access. I pulled the bios battery but still a white screen. I get a double beep on boot up with the white screen of life not death.

Swapped the memory with same result. Computer beeps with buttons pushed.

White screen is usually - at least in my experience - associated with defective and/or improperly inserted LCD cable.

Re-seat the connections and let us know how it went.

Reapplying Thermal paste. Arctic Silver 5 to the CPU. Had a fan error on another T410 that boots to bios. Swapping the fans right now and either will return the defective one if I cannot fix it or strip it and sell it for parts. I ordered a replacement fan from China. Will stock up on fans.

Just about to crack open the white screen T410. Will check the LCD cable connections. It may have been inspected and not connected correctly.

I sent the defective T410 back to the seller. They sent me a replacement that works perfectly. The screen cable was bad. My other T410 that had the fan error, replaced the fan with a new fan. Now all my Thinkpads are running with no problems. They are all 1440x900 screens.

They are all 1440x800 screens.

Did you get your T410 machines with the super-rare 36X2436 or 90X6090 LCD-bezels?

My T410 machines all have the very common 1440x900.

Have not taken off the LCD to see what model the panel is.
