I want to assemble SXGA+ X61s, however don't have time for soldering an LCD cable adapter. I'll pay 60 USD + shipping to Australia for an adapter or working modded cable. Would be nice to get something like guys have in German thinkwiki http://thinkwiki.de/%28X6x%29_SXGA%2B-D ... 6tarbeiten

I have an X60 tablet with sxga display..
never used it in all the years it has been here..
let me know if you have any interest..
not sure of what it is worth..
hopefully someone will pop in with a good suggestion..

He's looking for one of those custom cables pioneered by erik...so nothing out of a stock X6* tablet will work for him...

I purchased one last October from a person in Europe that was selling them on ebay at one point. I contacted him and he does still make them. Price was around $25 US shipped at that time. The cable is still working perfectly. I will PM you the e-mail account that I have for him.

Other hint. Originally i have found X61 IPS convertation instructions here. I can't find any contacts on his site, but i have found him... on ebay. If you have registered here - search for member (his id is the same on his site) and you can find one thinkpadder. Now he haven't lot for this cable - but try to send him ebay's personal message and may be he can help you like he helped me.

my cable design was copied and made overseas for pennies on the dollar. unfortunately i can't make them anywhere near $25, otherwise i'd offer.
