Bought T430 with almost-bad battery

Everything about it is sublime, except the battery. The strange thing about it is it has low cycles (~180) but the battery is at 50% capacity. Any suggestions on how to bring it up? I've gone through a full cycle a couple of times now; is the only thing left to do buy another one?

No way to bring it up.

The previous owner must have run it down hard (drain to < 20%, keep it plugged long after it's charged to 100%, rinse and repeat) to get to 50% battery wear.
