#1 Post by PCPero » Thu Jun 04, 2015 10:10 am

Hello,
I'm urgently looking for the one of firmwareupgrade for the card mentioned above enabling it up to 7,2MBit/sec.. All the mirrors in www are dead, so please confirm a PM to pjhome@gmx.net with the both files.
Thank you very much in advance,
Peter

Hi there,
thank you very much for your time and work! But do you mind my further asking for using this download, because I do know one upgrade with two files only - or are they hidden behind your download? I'm gonna wait for your answer, because I won't brick my card!
Thanks again,
PCPero

As far as I can remember, this firmware has two packages: boot file update (H2_0_8_1BT) and the actual firmware application update (H2_0_8_19AP)
As with any firmware update, there is always a risk of bricking etc.

You are right, but are the two files mentioned by you in this download, and why is it a exe file? The updatemanager coming with 3G watcher doesn't need an exe, as you surely know)
So, how is it to handle?

As previously mentioned both boot file update (H2_0_8_1BT) and actual firmware application update (H2_0_8_19AP) are enclosed in this single self-contained firmware update package.
Unable to answer why this file is packaged as .exe - This update package opens a live update window (Binary update tool R1.6.8.1) where it looks for the MC8775 modem card and auto updates
