Where do I go to find Windows XP drivers for the Thinkpad 770z, especially for the Selectadock III.

Re: 770z drivers source?
Welcome to thinkpads.com!
This appeared like an easy question to answer but there seems to be some more questions now that I've looked into it...
Up at the top of each forum page is a "Drivers" link. Click it and locate the link for the 770Z. There will be some XP drivers but most of them are pre-XP as the system is pretty old. You also won't find any drivers specifically for the Selectadock III. These resources were copied from Lenovo Support before they went EOL but should still be accessible from here: http://download.lenovo.com/lenovo/conte ... /770z.html
What's raising more questions is that there's many other systems referenced in the driver matrix (A22, T23, X22, etc.) besides the 770Z. I don't know if this is correct. Somebody brought this up last month at the official Lenovo forums:

Re: 770z drivers source?
That's weird about the missing 770Z link on the Lenovo End of Life support site. Until they fix it, though, you should be able to use the 770X page:
https://download.lenovo.com/lenovo/cont ... /770x.html
I don't think that there are any differences in drivers between the 770X and 770Z.
Having said that, I don't think that the SelectaDock III requires any drivers. I have a full set of various drivers for the 770Z saved locally, and there is only a single SelectaDock III file: an "Options Diskette v.1.00 (1998-03-30)" with the filename "sad3optn.exe" that is 1MB in size. I don't recall ever needing it.
All of the hardware in the SelectaDock III should be recognized by your Thinkpad when you first boot it up docked in the machine. This was true for Windows 98SE, 2000, and XP, I think.
Let us know if there is something that is not working in your SelectaDock III and we might be able to help troubleshoot.
Phil.
