#1 Post by Carchidi » Fri Jun 05, 2015 9:53 pm

Anyone had positive experiences with getting T60p repaired?
Needs new fan.

You can replace it yourself, shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes even if you've never done it before. Download the HMM appropriate for your system, and follow the instructions.

Good luck.

Thank you George, but not so simple. Looks like there are two, three, or more variations of fans. Not sure I can figure it out.

Sure you can.

Let's start with the basics:

What is the 7-character model number of your machine, found on the same sticker that holds the serial number and the production date on the bottom of the machine?

Thank you for your support George!

I'm a bit underwater right now, but will start in a few days.

With your support/guidance I can probably do it.

Thanks again.

Just post back in this thread once you're ready and we'll take it from there.
