Fits perfectly, I used .5mm or so copper sheet for GPU next time will glue this on.
I used fujipoly 1.5mm 6w/mk thermal pad on northbridge. That thermal pad does feels *much* heavier than original northbridge pad of same size. Will order 11w/mk thermal pad again in 1mm and 1.5mm thickness. Can also get fujipoly in thicker dimensions for the southbridge but cost is expensive so that will take time for time being.
GPU temps follows CPU around 5 degrees warmer then fall behind as CPU heats up. The merom CPU when stressed or the heatsink design is poor (3 heatpipes type) is so hot. Remember I mentioned that wanted to try penryn fsb 1066 CPU as 800fsb (no mod to the 15.4" R61 w/ nvidia mainboard) with modified bios.
Cheers, thinkpadcollection.
My results on discrete GPU T61 heatsink into R61.
