Do you have any idea if the guy is going to list T430 kit on Taobao or is there any way to purchase kit directly from him in China? I live in China, so it's pointless for me to buy kit from you (it would travel China -> USA -> China, I guess), but I speak Chinese only a little bit and sitting on 51nb with a dictionary and trying to communicate is a bit problematic for me. So if you have any information I would appreciate sharing it with me either in this topic or via PM. \

currently, the non-s kit is still being debugged.....
if you want a -s slim kit for T420s/T430s, I think you can find on taobao quite easily, key word "T420s FHD"

By "order" I mean request my paypal address through private msg and send me a payment.
It is extremely hard for me to keep track of things going back a few months, also people might change their minds, that's why I'm not responding to PMs.

I successfully ordered one kit directly from javi_jie by taobao.com. Now I am waiting for shipment which takes around 3 weeks. I paid for it with shipment ~ 37 dollars.

slim kits, non-slim ones are still under debugging process.
Both me and Javi-Jie are students, we can't spare that much time to devote into this. Especially he is at one of the top universities in China.

Is the kit price and cost of international shipping still the same as described in your first post? And do you test all the kits or did I get something wrong? In other words, is there a possibility of getting a defective one?
Also, do you know what is the difference between B140HAN01.1 and B140HAN01.2 antiglare panels, is any of them better than another one? They seem to have almost identical specs - http://www.panelook.com/modelcompare.ph ... 8919,18920

On another note, whats the advantage of upgrading the wireless card? Any suggestions for the upgrade? Will this need a modded bios? I'm unable to find a modded T420s bios that allows whitelisted AC cards and 1600mhz ram speeds.

Unfortunately the kits have been sold out and should be back 3/20-4/1.

Upgrading the wireless card can allow you to use 802.11ac as well as WiMAX capable cards. I'm using an Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300, before that I used an Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250. This would require a modded bios.

For the files I have hosted on dropbox, I haven't noticed any problems with them installed on my laptop.
If someone did notice a problem with the files I have, please tell me so I can stop hosting them and maybe find something safer.

I could noticed just the "glass thickness" difference, 0.5 for the 1.1 model .04 for the 1.2 model.

Hi. I'm really interested in upgrading my T420 (non-s version). could somebody tell me a bit more information about the interference issue?

Particularity I would like to know:

• How frequently the flickering occurs
• If other users find it too distracting
• Is there any way I can tell prior to testing if this will actually occur on my system or how bad it will be
