Used T520 and FHD LCD

I'd like to get a used T520 off eBay, but they all do not come with a 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Would it work if I were to buy the T520 and then get a 1920 x 1080 LCD?
ThinkPad W520: i7-2760QM @ 2.40GHz ~ 20GB RAM ~ 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD ~ 2GB NVIDIA Quadro 2000M ~ FHD+ @ 1920x1080 ~ Win 10 Pro x64.
ThinkPad T520: i5-2520M @ 2.50GHz ~ 8GB RAM ~ 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD ~ Intel HD 3000 ~ FHD+ @ 1920x1080 ~ Ubuntu 16.04 x64.

Yes, but make sure you get a genuine panel, not a 'compatible' panel, else you might blow a fuse or be dissapointed with the quality. The part number is 04W1544.
