I tend to believe this was already discussed somewhere in this site before, so I apologize in advance, but I searched and could not find any topics related to this.
While I am typing this, if I need to go back and select a word (double Left click/tap or just left click tap on something else like start menu, the trackpad button does not respond. It's like it is programmed to go numb while keyboard is being used, then it activates but with a terrible delay. I am not sure what's the purpose of this, but is there anyway I can eliminate this delay or disable this "feature".
Right clicking the trackpoint button (or right tapping the trackpad) seems to work fine.

Re: Trackpad/Trackpoint buttons don't respond while typing or immediately after
I think there's a "Disable touchpad while typing" setting somewhere.
Daily driver: X220 4291-P79 i5-2520M
In reserve: X61 T7500, X60 T2300
In pieces: X60s CS U1300 [board only], two retired but working X61Ts

Re: Trackpad/Trackpoint buttons don't respond while typing or immediately after
Thank you. I thought it was a trackpad related issue so I looked everywhere in the Lenovo related settings to see if something can be disabled.
Then when I was searching for Trackpad in windows settings found out that under Mouse and Touchpad (not trackpad) there was a setting for delay.
Of course searching for "Touchpad" in windows yields the result of "Choose whether to have a touchpad delay" option, selected "disable (Always On)" and delay is gone. I can use my keyboard and tap/click immediately while typing.
