Ultrabay Sleeves

#1 Post by XE1UFO » Wed Jul 08, 2015 11:20 am

Dear friends:

I am looking for a source where I might purchase a couple of protective sleeves for the Ultrabay accessories. Basically want to protect my DVD burner when not installed (I have the HDD bay as well) and am also thinking of getting the Ultrabay battery.

Thanks in advance!

Steve

I don't have the part number, but carrying cases were made many years ago for the early Ultrabay devices. They should be able to fit any of the newer devices since the drives have gotten thinner. If you search eBay with this:

thinkpad (cdrom,dvd) (sleeve,pouch,carrying)

you'll see some examples.

I bought an ultrabay on ebay at one point which came with a sata to usb
adapter, and a soft pouch which holds both of them.

Unfortunately, this was some time ago, so I can't say how to find it, but
I know that they are out there.
