how strong is headphone jack on X31?

#1 Post by kadf88 » Thu Jun 02, 2005 2:26 pm

I constantly plug and unplug my headphones/speakers from that jack and i'm wondering should I buy a seperate sound card or something? Also, sometimes I'll have a short cord on there and i'll yank my head back. i know this isn't good.. but the jack seems to stay sturdy. I'd imagine they would reinforce this jack since it gets used so much.. any comments?

just buy a headphone jack splitter so u can leave one end attached to your laptop.. that way u wont loosen up your sound card ports when u keep plug\unplug the wire :P

I had my X30 for about three years, I've daily plugging headphones in and out several times. That would be at least 2000 times without any problems...so far
