L540 with no ExpressCard reader slot ?

I got my L540 expecting a big hole for the expresscard slot on the left side, but there was just a cover.

1- Do I just have to remove the cover to reveal the reader ?

2- If there is no reader, can I install it ( connections available on motherboard )

3- I just got a model with no Expresscard connectivity ?


I need the Expresscard slot for Firewire support.

Apparently, only the HM86, non vPro models have the ExpressCard slot on the L540. The QM87 (vPro) models do not. I am not sure if it possible to install one on a QM87 model.
