Hi all,
Well, I've successfully updated my Z61t (9440-CTO) to Windows 10 Pro (x64). I'll soon be running a clean install of x86 Windows 10 Pro.
In the meantime, while checking Device Manager, I see two disabled components which previously worked under Win7:
* IBM ThinkPad Fast Infrared Port
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
* Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Should I update the drivers for each? Any recommendations for which drivers to use? Lenovo? Others?
For reference, I previously used the Broadcom drivers for Ethernet with no problems under Win7.
Thank you all for your help.
Regards,
Cyrus

Re: Z61t: Can't start drivers?
I guess no one has had any driver conflicts when updating a Z61t from Win7 Ultimate x64 to Windows10 Pro x64?
Time for a clean install of x86 Windows10 Pro this weekend...
