how to disable the T400 touch pad buttons

#1 Post by ewalberg » Tue Aug 18, 2015 8:35 am

i like to use the touch pad as a mouse, but the buttons are a nightmare. my hand brushes one and the cursor jumps around in the text i'm writing. can i disable the buttons leaving the pad as just a mouse?

Take the palmrest off, turn it over, and disconnect the flat cable that goes from the bottom of the touchpad to the two buttons.
