Orange light when charging T43p. What does it mean? It's solid orange, not flashing

I just put on Linux Mint on my backup T43p. When plugged into power the orange light comes on instead of green. When I unplug the T43 from the charger, it turns green. What does it mean? I have 3 IBM Thinkpad original chargers. Are they all the same wattage in the T43 line?

It means that the battery is being charged, but the battery power is still low.

Thanks, I was going to update my post. I was looking at 3 different thinkpads at the time. The other two were fully charged and green.
