Transparency? There is none, at least coming from Redmond...
While the security content is quite fully described, explanations of the non-security fixes have been lacking.

So basically MS is telling you that they own your PC and your data and they will do whatever they want, you do not get to even know what they are doing.

Yep.

Add the Patriot-Act-style monitoring - known to be a *fact* at least in the U.S. - from one's ILECs and ISPs and you get an extremely interesting picture.
