Runtime on 6cell with discrete GPU T410.

Since I'm fighting with T410 w/ NVS3100 to get best runtime and not doing well with it compared to T410 integrated iGPU which I have also. I wish that lenovo gave us choice to manually switch between integrated and descrete GPUs like the T500 I have as well is featured in T410, such no luck.

Does better off uninstall power manager that lenovo supplies for notebooks shaves some more saving power and not fight with windows' power manager?

Also, how is T420 run time on 6 cell and 9 cell vs T410 in general and how much hours?

The discrete T410s I have noticed are quite power hungry. The discrete T410 with a 9 cell should last 4-5 hours. A T420 on a 6 cell will usually last 5-6 hours, on a 9 cell 8-9 hours can be expected.

I don't think you'll do any better without the Lenovo Power Manager uninstalled. In fact you might have access to more power saving features through it compared to Windows alone.
