What would you pay for my Thinkpad W510

#1 Post by James2406 » Mon Aug 31, 2015 7:50 pm

Sorry if this is in the wrong area.

Thinkpad W510. Good shape. Has odd discoloration on the palmrest but it's only visible in direct light. Cover has some scratches but nothing deep or noticable. No dents or cracks. Keys are in great shape no shiny touchpad. Was "refurbished" by Goodwill (Bought from their Ebay) I wiped the HDD and installed win 7 Pro.
and did a full cleaning and disassembly after the OS install.
The Pad didn't have any damaged parts or any missing items upon disassembly. In fact it was quite dusty and even a factory sticker (I assume) had to be broken when I first took it apart. This leads me to believe they just basically did a fresh OS install.

Win 10 Upgradeable
500gb WD HDD 5400RPM (Came with it)
8gb Lenovo Ram
Intel Wifi
Webcam
Fingerprint scanner
90w A/C
135w A/C
FX880m
Two week Fresh Install i7-820qm with AS5
Spare i7-q720
Lenovo Thinkpad Bluetooth mouse only owner. Couple scuffs, nothing serious.
1600x900

Everything is in great shape given it's age, place of purchase and unknown amount of owners. I've had it for 4 months now and have had NO issues. My only qualm is the Western Digital Disk as it's old and slow.

I was just looking for a value but since I have to put a price.
Asking price would be around $500 or so with all of this. Just the laptop alone with the 90w A/C and the old 720 reinstalled would be $350ish?

Mod edit: Added model to title

According to the forum rules you must post some type of an asking price...
