X201 and X200 GPS and Windows 10

#1 Post by Billaboard » Tue Oct 13, 2015 10:45 am

I am running an X201 on Windows 7,and using GPS with the inbuilt Gobi 2000. It works fine.

I have another X201 where I am persevering with testing Windows 10 in spite of everything. It has a Gobi 2000 card, but it doesn't seem to work with the W7 drivers. Is this correct?

I have an X200t that has pen and single finger touch. Would the Gobi 2000 card from the X201 just slot in and work? I did have an X2000t with an Ericsson card, but never really got the GPS working on that, in spite of investing a few pence in a pay as you go sim.
