So in my frankenpad build thread I've shown that my HV150UX1-101 has many horizontal lines at the bottom. However, if I torque the screen counter-clockwise from the top, the lines vanish!
I'm led to believe that with careful re-bonding of the TAB connections on the left side of the LCD panel itself, the issue could be resolved. Does anyone here have experience with TAB bonding? This could save a lot of UXGA HFFS screens as this is not the first time I've seen this failure mode.

Other than adding some carton/paper between LCD and bezel, never tried other things.
