WTB: T61/T61p with date of manufacture 08/08 or later

Hi there,

I am on the market for a T61/T61p with a date of manufacture 08/08 or later (year/month).

This information is found on the back of the laptop, to the right of the serial number.

This would be one of the later productions of the T61, hence my interest to acquire one.

Please let me know if you have a good (non-modded) example you could sell.

I have a couple 14" T61s with the NVS 140 manufactured in 08/08 or 08/09 that I can sell, if you decide you want to deal with importing. Completely stock - and I can load the factory HDD contents (XP Pro or Vista Business) appropriate for that model as well if desired.

That one offered above looks nice, I also have a 14" widescreen 08/09 available as well as a 15.4" widescreen with 08/10 date, or if you want something real special I have one of the last special order units ever made, includes original box, manuals, etc with factory build sheet printed on the box. It was special ordered on October 15th 2008 and also has a factory installed 2.4ghz Penryn cpu. It had very little use when I purchased it from the original owner and it's been in my collection ever since. If you're a collector this would be the ultimate nVidia T61. If you let me know what you're interested in I'll work up a price, for a ball park the ones I mentioned will run in the $200-500 range plus shipping.

Also, the holy grail of T61 series would be an 08/08 standard screen model, but none are believed to exsist, however you can easily make one now that I have some brand new NOS motherboards in original IBM boxes with GPU dates mostly in 2010, so if you get any T61, add the motherboard and you're set. I have these extremely rare boards on sale for the rest of the month (still a few days left) for $129 each, or two for $250. The last ones I located all sold for $250 each.
