X201 touchpad upgrade

Hi

I'm wondering if a x201 without touchpad could be upgraded with touchpad by only replacing palmrest. No fingerprint scanner is needed.

Any idea?

Yes. Read the Hardware Maintenance Manual for the X201 to get the correct FRU part number. The HMMs are available here just search for X201
