How to turn keyboard light on at boot?

#1 Post by cf4470 » Mon Jan 04, 2016 1:04 pm

How can I configure an X1 Carbon Touch to automatically turn on its keyboard light at boot? Also, I want it to automatically turn on when it wakes from sleep. Basically I want it on all the time, unless I turn it off.

The key in the upper right corner of my keyboard is Delete. Are you saying that Fn + Delete will keep the keyboard backlight on? I don't think so.

There only seems to be a way to automatically toggle the thinklight on/off, not the keyboard backlight.

Thanks for thinking about my post. To clear up any confusion, I'm talking about the keyboard backlight which comes with an X1 Carbon Touch, not the ThinkLight LED on other models.
